In this article I would like to show you a build of the character Diver, with which you can also play through the round very comfortably.

Positive

The diver starts with 1 harpoon
The price of a harpoon is -100%.

You deal +200% crit damage with the Precision weapon class.

% Crit Chance modifiers are increased by 25%.

You get +1 HP regeneration for every 2 melee damage.

Enemies take 300% more damage when hit by ranged damage for 3 seconds.

Negative

You start with -100 ranged damage.

Enemies have +250% health.

We start the run with the shuriken.

Although this has the worst melee scaling of the starting weapons, it bounces off critical hits and thus helps you a lot when hitting enemies.

Even though the range is ranged, hits from the shuriken do not count toward the extra ranged damage.

With 2 harpoons you can almost constantly pull enemies towards you, hitting them with ranged damage and taking enormously increased damage from you.

Values

Offensive

Offensively, % Crit is the best value. Getting close to or ideally to 100% is extremely important.

% Damage is the next important value.

Because of the poor scaling of melee damage, your damage is not increased that much, but you do get HP regeneration, which makes melee damage very good.

Defensive

Defensively you need max HP and armor.

% Life penalty triggers a lot due to the many ricochets of your weapon.

You get HP regeneration from melee damage.

The Hunting Trophy is one of the best items on any % Crit Chance build.

You can never go wrong with this.

Mastery, which increases your melee damage, is very good.

Tentacles are perfect for additional healing.

Reward

As a reward for your first successful run, you will unlock the Starfish item.

A very good item if you can do enough damage.
