In this article I would like to show you a build of the character Gangster, with which you can also play through the round very comfortably.

With the Gangster you can steal 1 item per shop.

Stealing has a chance to spawn an elite enemy.

All future elite enemies and bosses become stronger when you kill an elite enemy or boss.

Negative

Your item prices are increased by 20%.

Items in the shop cannot be blocked.

There is no special weapon scaling with the Gangster.

So you might as well choose a melee weapon.

The MP worked very well for the runthrough and with a bit of luck you can even steal a minigun from the shop.

Always try to steal an item from the shop, as it would be wasted if you don't.

Depending on whether you feel confident that you can defeat the elite enemy, you can take items that have a higher chance of creating an elite enemy.

Also note that each subsequent elite enemy becomes stronger when you defeat the one that spawns!

Each elite enemy you defeat also gives you a red chest with a guaranteed red item that can greatly influence your playthrough.

Values

Harvesting in early waves is quite good because it allows you to reroll more often in the shop and thus has a higher chance of getting a good item that you can steal.

Offensive

The weapon doesn't scale very well with ranged damage, but it's still the best stat here.

% damage should still not be neglected so that you can increase the damage further.

Defensive

On the defensive side, a good mix of armor (around 10-15) and % evasion (40-60%) is the best choice.

There must be enough max. HP, especially for the additional elite enemies that may appear.

% Health Drain is the best stat for quickly regenerating HP, as it allows you to attack quickly with your weapons.

Items that increase your damage against elite enemies and bosses are perfect for the Gangster.

An example of this would be the giant belt, which deals percentage damage to enemies, elite enemies and bosses with each critical hit.

Another item for this is the silver bullet, which allows you to do extra damage against bosses and elite enemies.

The bandana gives you extra penetration for your projectiles, which can greatly increase your damage dealt against multiple targets.

Reward

As a reward for your successful completion, you will unlock the Grenade Launcher item.
