Description

In Weekly Challenge Mode, you play an alternate game variant that you must complete three times to receive a big reward of $5,000 and 5,000 experience.

To achieve completion, all you need to do is identify the right ghost.

Even if you die but chose the right ghost, it counts as one of the three completions. Challenge mode works best in a group, but can also be played alone.

Some weekly challenges are more difficult than others and require multiple attempts.

The advantage is that you are provided with all the equipment you need for the challenge, so you don't have to spend any money.

The downside is that you have to play with the given equipment on the given map to complete it.

The description of the challenge suggests that you have little to no ability to hide and no sanity.

Meaning

The ghost has 125% ghost speed.

You have 125% player speed.

The initial sanity is 0% and the sanity medicine does not restore sanity.

You have 1 random cursed Possession, these are all located in the entrance area or the entrance hallway in Prison.

Equipment

The equipment consists of Tier 1 items.

The crucifixes and incense are missing, which will make it more dangerous to find the ghost room and protect yourself from the ghost.

Location

The challenge takes place in Prison.

Tips on the process

Prison is one of the largest locations, which makes it harder to find the ghost room on the one hand, but less dangerous when the ghost starts chasing you when you are far away from it.

Before entering Prison, you can look through the cameras in the van to see if you can find any ghost orbs anywhere in order to directly determine the ghost room.

If you're very lucky, you might even see objects being thrown around by the ghost, but you shouldn't rely on that as it's very unlikely.

The increased ghost speed can make it a little more difficult to identify the ghost when it is hunting.

Try to use the cursed item to get the ghost to take action, but avoid the haunted mirror, the Ouija board, and the summoning circle, as these will immediately lead to a cursed hunt at 0% sanity.

Otherwise, all you can do is hope to find the ghost room quickly and for the ghost not to hunt too quickly.
