Phasmophobia: On Record - Challenge mode

Description

In the On Record Weekly Challenge mode, you play an alternate game variant that you must complete three times to receive a large reward of $5,000 and 5,000 experience.

To achieve completion, you simply need to identify the correct ghost. Even if you don't survive, but you chose the correct ghost, that counts toward one of the three completions.

Challenge Mode works best in a group, but it's also possible to complete it solo. Some weekly challenges are more difficult than others and may require multiple attempts.

The advantage is that all the equipment you need for the challenge is provided, so you don't have to spend any money on the rounds.

The downside is that you have to play with the given equipment on the given map to achieve completion.

On Record

On Record is the first newly added challenge with the introduction of the Sound Recorder, which was added with the Chronicle Update.

Therefore, the description here is very simple so that you can try out the new media changes in this challenge.

Settings

The following settings are set for the On Record Challenge Mode.

Player is relatively normal, only the decline rate of mental state is 200%.

The ghost changes its favorite room less often and has a higher rate of ghost events.

Under mission you always have foggy weather and the fuse box is already switched on at the beginning.

You have 60 seconds of preparation time to set up your equipment.

Of the cursed possessions, you have one random one.

You are missing the parabolic microphones and the sound sensors.

The rest of the equipment is at level 2.

Tips on the process

Bleasedale Farmhouse is a reworked map and together with the new sound recorder you have a lot of new things to discover here.

You can take advantage of the 1 minute preparation time and find the ghost room without any risk.

Because the fuse box is also directly on, you don't have to activate it first and can start ghost hunting right away.

The rest of this challenge is actually relatively relaxed and doesn't differ much from a normal round.
