Phasmophobia: Open for business - Challenge mode

Description

The challenge mode changes every week, giving you a game mode that makes you play the game a little differently than you might usually do, and specifying fixed equipment and ghost behavior.

In addition to the normal rewards, this mode also rewards you with $5000 and 5000 experience once you have correctly identified the ghost three times.

To achieve a degree, you simply need to identify the right spirit.

Even if you die, but have chosen the right spirit, that counts as one of the three degrees.

It works best in a group, but can also be played alone.

Some weekly challenges are more difficult and may require multiple attempts.

The advantage is that all the equipment needed for the challenge is provided to you, so you don't have to spend any money.

The downside is that you have to play with the given equipment on the given map to achieve a completion.

The player settings in this weekly challenge mode of Nell's Diner are nothing out of the ordinary and should therefore not pose any particular challenge.

The situation is somewhat different with the ghost settings.

The ghost has a high frequency of wandering around, which means you are rather unlikely to encounter it directly in its haunted room, making the process of finding evidence somewhat more complicated.

The long hunting time can also mean that the ghost can find you even if you don't have a safe hiding place.

The mind's low interaction rate can also make it more difficult to find evidence.

The quest settings will give you a random cursed possession.

Furthermore, the weather is windy and the number of doors that are open from the start is high.

The medium number of hiding places and the long hunting time can make it more dangerous to be caught by the ghost.

The fuse box is visible on the map and is also switched on from the start, which makes it easier to find the ghost room.

Tips on the process

Nell's Diner is a new and small menu.

The fewer hiding places and longer hunting time will make it more difficult for you to hide safely from the ghost when it starts hunting.

Otherwise, there are no particular difficulties to overcome in this challenge mode, and you should take advantage of having a switched-on fuse box and therefore power from the start to locate the ghost room as quickly as possible.
