Phasmophobia: Survival of the fittest - Challenge mode

Description

The Weekly Challenge Mode gives you the opportunity to play an alternate game variant that you must complete three times to receive a reward of $5,000 and 5,000 experience.

Completion simply requires identifying the correct ghost. Even if you die but chose the correct ghost, it counts as one of the three completions.

It works best in a group, but can also be played alone. Some weekly challenges are more difficult and require multiple attempts.

The advantage is that you are provided with all the equipment you need for the challenge, so you don't have to spend any money.

The downside is that you have to play with the given equipment on the given map to complete it.

Survival of the fittest

This challenge gives you the clues that it will not be easy.

Sanity and Sanity Medicine make it harder for you alongside the evidence of the ghost.

Meaning

You start with 0% sanity and sanity medicine has no effect.

Additionally, you have 0 evidence that you will receive from the ghost.

Only the monkey's paw is available to you as a cursed object.

Equipment

The equipment you are missing is the video camera with tripod, the DOTS projector, the ghost books, the UV lamps and the thermometers.

So almost anything that could give you evidence that you won't find here anyway.

The rest of the equipment consists of everything from Tier 1, Tier 2 and Tier 3.

Location

The challenge takes place in Edgefield Road.

Tips on the process

This challenge is a really hard one after the very easy ones from last week.

With the help of the monkey's paw you can have a piece of evidence deleted, but you should do it at the end, otherwise your vision will be permanently restricted.

The only ghost that could give you false evidence and thus be clearly identified would be the mimic, but unfortunately this will not be possible due to the lack of a video camera.

All you can really do is hope that the ghost is clearly identifiable by its hunting behavior or that you can clearly identify the ghost in some other way, such as the banshee scream with the parabolic microphone or using the genie's electrical box (detectable by EMF).

If it is one of the regular ghosts like Spirit or Yurei, you are usually left with no choice but to guess the ghost.
