FS25: When is the Release?

Improved Graphics: Giants Engine 10

This new version of the game engine provides significant improvements in graphics and performance. For example, weather effects and the representation of fog have been fundamentally revised.

The new engine allows for realistic sun reflections and dynamic shadows cast by clouds on the fields. Rain also looks more realistic, leaving drops on vehicles and mud on tires.

New US Map: Riverbend Springs

Another highlight is one of the three new maps, the new US map Riverbend Springs, which awaits the player with over 70 fields and many interactive elements. Fans of the FS can look forward to walk-in production buildings. This applies to all farm buildings, as well as unique buildings on the map such as a sawmill, brickworks, paper factory and old barns.

There is also an improved farmer's market with interactive shelves on which sold goods are stored. You can now also equip your own farm with a sales stand to generate passive income.

Gameplay Improvements

Of course, new crops are a must in this year's FS. The player can grow two different types of rice, some of which require their own fleet of vehicles. It is also now possible to grow spinach, which can even be harvested twice a year. Peas, which could previously only be grown as a mod, are also included in the base game.

Two new animal species are being introduced in LS 25: Water buffalo and goats. These Asian buffalo fit perfectly into the landscape of the new Asia map and, like goats, produce milk that you can use to make cheese. It is even possible to breed the animals. Over time, the young animals grow into productive livestock for your farm.

FS25: New Crops and Gameplay Features

FS25 offers several new fruit varieties and thus new cultivation methods, in-depth gameplay and an improved helper system. You can find out all about the new features in the new FS in this post.

The helper system has also been optimized. Players can now use the new GPS steering mode, in which the tractor drives across the field independently according to predefined lines. Helpers also need less space to turn, as they can turn directly in the field, which makes field management more efficient.
