Description

In Weekly Challenge Mode, you play an alternate game variant that you must complete three times to receive a big reward of $5,000 and 5,000 experience.

To complete a game, all you need to do is identify the correct ghost. Even if you die but chose the correct ghost, it counts toward one of the three completions.

Challenge mode works best in a group, but it is also possible to complete it alone. Some weekly challenges are more difficult than others and may require multiple attempts.

The advantage is that all the equipment you need for the challenge is provided to you, so you don't have to spend any money on the rounds.

The downside is that you have to play with the given equipment on the given map to complete it.

Tips on the process

It's best to take advantage of your increased speed.

So go to the high school with a flashlight or video camera so you can see ghost orbs right away, a thermometer, and a parabolic microphone.

Using the thermometer, you can quickly check each room for dropping temperatures to locate the ghost room.

If you're heading to another room that you haven't tested yet, you can use the parabolic microphone to check for sounds that are further away.

With a little luck, you will hear the spirit and be able to move in its direction.

If you don't notice it right away, you can also use it to hear when the ghost starts hunting, which you will most likely do quickly given the starting sanity of 0%.

Your increased speed makes it much easier for you to escape from the ghost and evade its gaze.

Once you find the ghost room, set up the video camera to see ghost orbs from the truck and bring crucifixes into the room to better search for evidence without a hunt.

You can place the ghost books and DOTS so that you can see them via the video camera in the truck and thus do not have to wait in the room for the evidence.
