In the computer game Schedule 1, you build up a fictitious drug empire and use sophisticated logistics to supply an entire district with intoxicating substances. In this post, you will learn all the tricks you need for a successful start in Schedule 1.

The computer game Schedule 1 is probably already the surprise of the year on Steam. The indie game has been programmed over the past three years by a single developer from Australia named Tyler.

The game was released as an Early Access title on Steam at the end of March. Hundreds of thousands of players are currently eager to play Schedule 1: According to SteamDB, over 300.000 players are playing the new title concurrently on Steam every day!

Schedule 1 features simple yet appealing comic-style graphics, and the gameplay is somewhat reminiscent of a mix of the Breaking Bad series and the Grand Theft Auto computer game series.

A major differentiator from GTA, however, is the level of detail in each individual action: Instead of simply planting a pot with a single button press, each step is performed individually. From adding soil to watering the seedlings, each step is a separate mini-game.

Best Start in Schedule 1

The motorhome is initially parked next to the highway.

After your Uncle Nelson is taken away by the police, you escape in your RV to the small town of Hyland Point. Here, you park in a secluded wooded area to get your bearings.

The RV already has some of the equipment needed to grow cannabis. First, water your existing plants to get a yield as quickly as possible.

After harvesting and bagging your plants, collect all items and furniture by right-clicking on them.

First, bring all items to safety before completing the first quests. At Dan's Hardware Store, you can store ten different items and furniture on the pallets in front of the store.

Store all items on pallets to protect them from the explosion.

During the first quest line, your RV is destroyed by a gang, after which you no longer have access to your items in the vehicle.

The First Quest Series

Your first task is to make a phone call to Uncle Nelson, who is now behind bars. He has hidden three stashes of cash in Hyland Point, and you'll collect these first. The stashes are marked with a yellow star in your navigation bar at the top of the screen.

Meanwhile, the RV is set to explode. By now, all items inside are incinerated.

The mobile home was blown up by a gang.

As your new home, you rent a motel room from Donna, which costs $75 for a week. There you can replant your plants.

Earn Money by Collecting Garbage

On the Schedule 1 map, you'll find a lot of trash on the street. You can pick it up with the E key and throw it into a recycling bin (Cash for Trash). There, you'll receive some money for it. Full trash cans can be transferred into a black trash bag. These trash bags can also be recycled in the green bin.

The green recycling box is a great way to earn some money quickly.

To collect trash even more efficiently, you can purchase a trash grabber from the store for $20. This gives you a long grabber with a small container, allowing you to quickly collect a lot of trash. Most importantly, it allows you to collect more than one item at a time.

Scattered throughout the map, you'll find isolated dumpsters, often filled with trash. Head for the dumpsters to quickly find a large amount of trash and earn money.

It is always worth taking a look into the closed containers.

Some rolling containers on the map have lids, so it's always worth opening them and checking for trash. This is a quick way to earn $50, especially at the beginning.

Earn Money by Pickpocketing

In the computer game Schedule 1, you can also steal money from passersby. To do this, sneak behind them by pressing the Ctrl key.

You can then select "Pickpocket." All items the character is carrying will then appear in their inventory. By pressing the spacebar at the right moment, you can pull the item (or money) out of the slot.

If you press the space bar at the wrong moment, they'll catch you and, in the worst case, beat you up.

Police Patrols

Police officers regularly patrol the world of Schedule 1 to maintain law and order. If they catch you in the act of making a deal, they'll pursue you.

If you are arrested, all illegal substances will be confiscated and you will be fined.

A curfew also begins every day at 9 p.m. If you break it and are caught, you will also be arrested. Ideally, stay indoors until dawn.

Hiding in Garbage Containers

The rolling containers with lids are also great for hiding when you're on the run. Close the lid while inside to become virtually invisible.
