In this post I want to show you a build of the character Wildling, with which you can play through the game very well.

The character Wilder begins his run with a stick.
Also, his positive trait is that he has +25% life steal when using Primitive class weapons.

The negative traits are, firstly, he cannot equip weapons above level 2, which will result in a bit of a damage penalty, and secondly, he starts with -3 melee damage and -3 ranged damage.

To compensate for the reduced damage from the negative traits, we're starting the run with an extra stick that gives you extra damage for each other stick equipped.

Due to this extra damage from the weapon, it is of course obvious that we only go through the entire run with sticks.

So get more of these weapons as soon as possible, since you can only upgrade them to level 2 anyway, and then focus on the other damage values.

% Damage, Attack Speed, and Crit Chance are always good choices.
Even taking melee damage is very good, since the character only starts with -3 of this value, and it can be recovered quickly.

In addition, your attacks cause less damage due to this negative value, so it should be brought back to at least a neutral or positive value in a timely manner.

Due to the very high life penalty caused by the primitive weapons, you don't have to concentrate too much on regenerative values with this character, but can choose more in the direction of maximum HP and armor.

If you are still struggling with the enemies, you can of course take a good amount of HP Regeneration or take a bit of Dodge chance to avoid getting hit by the harder enemies.

Attack speed works best with life steal, of course, since you'll obviously hit faster with it and thus trigger regeneration more often.

If you only have your weapons at the maximum level of 2 here and have good balanced remaining values, nothing stands in the way of you passing the run with ease.

Once you have done that, you unlock the hatchet item for your further runs.
