Phasmophobia: For Detectives Only - Challenge Mode

Description

The Weekly Challenge Mode gives you the opportunity to play an alternate game variant that you must complete three times to receive a reward of $5,000 and 5,000 experience.

Completion simply requires that you identify the correct ghost. Even if you die but chose the correct ghost, that counts as one of the three completions.

It is best to play in a group, but you can also play alone.

Some weekly challenges are more difficult and may require multiple attempts.

The advantage is that you are provided with all the equipment you need for the challenge, so you don't have to spend any money.

The downside is that you have to play with the given equipment on the given map to complete

Only for detectives

The description of the challenge already suggests that you will not receive any clues from the ghost.

Meaning

What this means exactly is that you cannot get any evidence from the spirit.

Here you have to rely on your experience in ghost hunting.

In addition, both ghost speed and player speed are quite normal.

Your cursed object here will be the Ouija board.

Equipment

Everything is available to you as equipment, but only in the Tier 1 version.

This will not make it easy for you to find the ghost.

The equipment used to search for evidence will be almost completely useless anyway.

For Detectives Only takes place in Edgefield Road.

Tips on the process

This challenge is not easy, especially for less experienced players.

Detecting a ghost with absolutely no evidence can be very difficult, especially if you don't know every behavior of every ghost.

You can leave all the evidence equipment in the truck, except for the video camera, as it will be of no use to you.

With a bit of luck, you can use the video camera to spot ghost orbs, which clearly indicate a mimic.

Otherwise you won't be able to see any evidence.

Find a hiding place to retreat to when the ghost starts hunting and listen to its speed and behavior using the tips described above.
