Here we show you how to tame the Ceratosaurus

Ceratosaurus

The Ceratosaurus is a pretty dangerous creature in Ark: Survival Ascended. In this article I will introduce you to everything you need to tame the Ceratosaurus.

Before you tame a Ceratosaurus in Ark: Survival Ascended, you need to gather a few things. You also need level 60 to be able to tame the Ceratosaurus.

  • Hunt the Ceratosaurus to get its poisonous stinger
  • Learn the Hemogoblin Cocktail engram at level 60
  • You need a dinosaur that can take a lot.

To make the Hemogoblin Cocktail you need the following resources:

  • 15 Blood Packs
  • 10 Cerato Venom Spine
  • 10 Narcotics .

You should make enough Hemogoblin cocktails, because one won't be enough. (According to my experience)

Danger! Depending on server settings, requirements may vary.

Next, it is recommended to build a trap. I always set up this trap something like this, I took a screenshot for you.

The trap.

To build the trap you need the following elements:

  • 6 stone foundation.
  • 4 stone ramp.
  • 10 stone wall.
Ceratosaurus in the trap.

The Ceratosaurus slowly becomes drenched in blood after attacking your tamed dinosaur that you gave the Hemogoblin cocktail to.

Once the Ceratosaurus is 100% blood-soaked, it becomes passive and you can interact with it by feeding it a piece of meat, tenderloin, or Extraordinary Kibble.

The best way to tame a Ceratosaurus is to look for one that has a young one with it. Once you see something like that, you can immediately move on to the next step. The first thing you should take care of now is the mother animal.

As soon as the mother is out of action, you can start taming the young animal. The taming process is now accelerated, so to speak, because it is a young animal.
