The properties of the maniacs are +100 range with weapons of the weapon class Precision, which are also specified here.
Also +25% attack speed with all weapons and he starts with a knife.

The negative stats are -30% dodge, so we're going to focus more on armor here, otherwise it's going to be a bit difficult to get back into positive dodge territory.
Also -10 Engineering and -10 Ranged Damage, which while slightly easier to move back in the positive direction, it's still easier to focus on melee and elemental damage, which is what we'll be doing with the Lightning Blade.

While the +100 range wouldn't be my first choice for melee combat, it still feels very comfortable since enemies don't get close to you at first.

Since we have a negative evasion chance anyway, which by the way does not ensure that we are hit a second time, but simply acts like 0% evasion chance, we can also reduce it further if, as here, our elemental damage is reduced increases.

If possible, get more Lightning Blades to fill up or boost your weapon slots.
Always make sure you have enough armor, max HP, HP regeneration and life drain so that you can achieve a comfortable run.

Of course, the damage, i.e. both % damage and elemental damage, must not be too short, otherwise you can no longer fight the waves properly and you will be overrun.

Once you've collected enough Lightning Blades, you can also replace the knife you received at the beginning with a sixth Lightning Blade.

If you have successfully completed the run, you will unlock the hunting trophy for your future runs, which is highly recommended, especially if you already get it at low wave levels, as it pays off extremely quickly if you have a good crit chance, of course have that is needed to trigger the item.
