Developer Information about the Processor
Minimum Requirements
- Processor: Intel Core i3-2130 or AMD FX 4300
Recommended
- Processor: Intel Core i5 9600K or AMD Ryzen 5 2600X
As benchmarks for the last F1 game have already shown, the recommended processors for gaming in Full HD are often sufficient, but they are in the lower part of the ranking. If you have a modern processor such as the Intel Core i5-12400 or AMD Ryzen 5 5600X, you can easily achieve twice as many frames per second. This gain in performance with a modern processor is particularly relevant when playing games with high details or in 4K, since the processors recommended by the developer become the limiting factor there.

Compare Processors
If your processor is not listed in this post, you can compare your CPU to the processors in this post on the Geekbench website. You can find the processor rankings at Geekbench under the following link https://browser.geekbench.com/processor-benchmarks. The single-core performance is often the most relevant criteria for games. But the multi-core performance shouldn't be too low either. From a single-core performance of over 1500 points, you should be able to play most games smoothly without the processor restricting performance. In addition, at least 4 cores, but better more than 4, are recommended. This results in a Geekbench multi-core performance of at least 6000 points.
