When does the new season start and when will the patches go live? This post will give you an overview of all important dates. At the end of the post you will also find links to add those dates to your calendar.

Just a few more days and the preseason will be over. In the LoL client you can see that the new ranked season will start on January 8th, 2021. Then all ranks are reset and it is up to you to prove yourself in the ladder again.

The first patch of the 2021 season will go live two days earlier (on January 6th, 2021). You can find the entire overview of the patches in 2021 here:
