Description

A Phantom is a ghost that can possess the living, inducing fear into those around it. They are most commonly summoned from Ouija Boards.

Strength

Looking at a Phantom will drop your sanity considerably faster.

Weakness

Taking a photo of the Phantom will make it temporarily disappear.

Hidden Powers

If the Phantom is photographed during a ghost event, it will immediately disappear, but the ghost event may persist and the phantom may continue to make noise while invisible.

In the captured photo, however, the ghost is not visible and the image is not blurry like ghost photos or normal photos taken during a ghost event.

During the hunt, the phantom is invisible much more often than all other ghosts and accordingly blinks much less.

The phantom likes to follow players, so it's highly recommended to stay collected and close to the ghost room to make finding evidence easier.

Poltergeist

Description

One of the most famous ghosts, the Poltergeist. Known to manipulate objects around it to spread fear into its victims.

Strength

Poltergeists can throw multiple objects at once, and with great force.

Weakness

With nothing to throw, Poltergeists become powerless.

Hidden Powers

The poltergeist possesses the power to throw many objects at once, reducing players' sanity per object thrown.

The poltergeist also throws items significantly more often, both in its normal state and while hunting.

This ghost also has a guarantee to throw items while hunting that it moves past, while all other ghosts only have a 50% chance to throw items while hunting.

The poltergeist also has the ability to throw objects much farther than the other ghosts.

To identify a poltergeist, you can simply create big piles with lots of items and wait for the ghost to throw all the items at once.
