Processor manufacturer information
Minimum requirement according to manufacturer
- Prozessor: Intel Core i3-2130 or AMD FX 4300
Recommended according to manufacturer
Processor: Intel Core i5 9600K or AMD Ryzen 5 2600X
As benchmarks of the predecessor have already shown, the recommended processors are often sufficient for gaming in Full HD, but they are in the lower range of the ranking. If you have a modern processor like the Intel Core i5-12400 or AMD Ryzen 5 5600X, you can easily achieve twice as many frames per second. This performance gain with a modern processor is especially relevant when playing games with high details or in 4K, since the manufacturer's recommended processors become the limiting factor.

Compare processors
If your processor is not listed in this post, you can compare your CPU to the processors in this post on Geekbench's website. You can find the best list of processors at Geekbench https://browser.geekbench.com/processor-benchmarks under the following link. Single-core performance is often the most relevant criterion for gaming. But the multi-core performance should not be too low either. From a single-core performance of over 1500 points, you should be able to play smoothly in most games without the processor limiting the performance. Beyond that, at least 4 cores, but better than 4 are recommended. This results in a Geekbench multi-core performance of at least 6000 points.
