There is finally a new class in Shakes & Fidget. The Paladin is the second ever shield class in Sfgame. This guide will tell you everything you need to know about the Paladin's abilities.

After a long period of silence regarding the development of new classes in Shakes & Fidget, Playa Games now released a new type of warrior that is equipped with a more complex shield mechanic than the regular warrior.

The Paladin is able to use his shield to build up a devastating attack over several rounds. To do this, he switches from the initial stance to the defensive stance and finally strikes in the offensive stance.

With a hit points factor of 6, the Paladin is the class with the most hit points in Shakes & Fidget. In comparison, the Warrior only has a hit points factor of 5.

Initial Shield Stance

In the initial stance, there is a 50% chance of switching to the defensive stance. In addition, you receive the following combat values in this shield stance:

  • Block Chance: 30%
  • Damage Factor: 83%
  • Max. Damage Reduction: 45%

Defensive Stance: Shield of Faith

In the defensive stance there is a 50% chance of switching to the offensive stance. With a 50% chance the incoming attack will be completely blocked. At the same time, the Paladin heals himself for 30% of the damage blocked.

  • Block Chance: 50%
  • Damage Factor: 57%
  • Max. Damage Reduction: 45%

Offensive Stance: Divine Smite

In the offensive stance, there is a 50% chance of switching to the initial stance. In addition, you receive the following combat values in the offensive stance:

  • Block Chance: 25%
  • Damage Factor: 125%
  • Max. Damage Reduction: 20%

The shield stances are ineffective against mages. However, a mage takes 50% more damage from the paladin.
