In this post you will find out which graphics card Enshrouded runs in FullHD, QHD, 4k with 60 Fps and for which graphics preset the individual cards are suitable.

Graphics card Full HD (1920x1080)

With relatively old graphics cards, such as the GTX 1080, Enshrouded can unfortunately only be played with low graphics settings, but at least at around 60 FPS. If you want good in-game graphics, you will need at least an RTX 4060 Ti to play smoothly in Full HD, but ideally an even better model. Graphics cards with 6 GB of VRAM are the minimum requirement, even in the 'Low' preset. If you want to play Enshrouded in Full HD with higher details, 8 GB of VRAM is sufficient for the game. Nevertheless, when buying a new one you should at least choose models with more VRAM.

Graphics card QHD (2560x1440)

In QHD, as in Full HD, Enshrouded runs best on previous or current generation graphics cards from Nvidia and AMD. With the RTX 3080 and RX 6800, you can play games smoothly in low details. With an RTX 3090 or RX 6800 XT and better models you can still play smoothly up to high details. If you want to play in maximum details, you should choose an Nvidia RTX 4080 or an AMD Radeon RX 7900 XT. With DLSS you can still play in high details even with worse graphics cards like the RTX 4070.

Graphics cards 4K (3840x2160)

4K gaming with maximum details is only possible in Enshrouded with native 4K resolution on Nvidia's RTX 4090. For all other models you have to adjust the details of the preset by hand. With DLSS it is possible to play at 4K with inferior graphics cards even in low to medium presets. The RTX 4080 with DLSS is also suitable for maximum details.

DLSS

With DLSS from Nvidia you can achieve around 50% more FPS in Enshrouded, which causes the graphics cards to move up in the presets. In general, I'm more interested in the performance in native resolution, since DLSS generally works well, but can also lead to less graphically attractive effects.

Compare graphics cards

If your graphics card is not listed in this post, you can compare your graphics card with the graphics cards in this post on the GFXBench website. The Aztec Ruins High Tier benchmark is best suited for comparison. You should choose Windows - DirectX as the operating system.
