The Yokai can hunt at an average sanity of 80% when a player is nearby.
During a hunt, the Yokai can't hear you until you're within 2.5 meters of him - the same goes for tracking your gear!
You can also get much closer to the Yokai with the music box before it is destroyed.
In addition, the Yokai is much more active when you talk near him.
The Yokai hunts from 50% average sanity. But can start chasing at 80% average sanity if nearby players are talking.

Description
Yokai are common ghosts that are attracted to human voices. They can usually be found haunting family homes.
Strength
Talking near a Yokai will anger it, increasing the chance of an attack.
Weakness
When hunting, a Yokai can only hear voices close to it.
Hantu
Hidden Powers of the Hantu
A Hantu will speed up when moving in cold areas.
Most of the time it's pretty easy to spot, since he's significantly faster in his ghost room, where he usually starts hunting, and keeps slowing down outside of the ghost room.
Additionally, he will not speed up if he sees you while hunting.
A Hantu cannot turn on the fuse box and has an increased chance of turning it off.
While hunting, the Hantu will have chilly breath on itself as long as the fuse box is off.
A Hantu will always have freezing temperatures as evidence as long as there is at least one evidence.
The Hantu hunts at 50% average sanity.

Description
A Hantu is a rare ghost that thrives in the coldest climates. The cold seems to make them more aggressive and empowered.
Strength
Lower temperatures allow the Hantu to move at faster speeds.
Weakness
Hantus move slower in warmer areas.
