Description

A Yurei is a ghost that has returned to the physical world, usually for the purpose of revenge or hatred.

Strength

Yureis have been known to have a strogner effect on people's sanity.

Weakness

Smudging the Yurei's place of death will trap it temporarily, reducing how much it wanders.

Hidden Powers of the Yurei

A Yurei has the ability to instantly drain 15% sanity from you when near you.
Once the Yurei uses this ability, it will slam one or all doors in the room you are in.

However, all ghosts have the ability to close doors in rooms, but only the Yurei drains your sanity with this ability in the process, and he will potentially do it more often than the other ghosts.

When you smoke a Yurei, it will be locked in this room for a period of time.

Oni

Description

Onis love to scare their victims as much as possible before attacking. They are often seen in their physical form, guarding their place of death.

Strength

Oni are much more active whilst people are nearby and will drain their sanity faster when manifesting.

Weakness

Oni disappear less often while hunting their prey.

Hidden Powers of the Oni

It is not possible for an Oni to do the Ghost Breath event, where a small smoke screen flies towards you.
So if you get this event, it can't be Oni.

In addition, the Oni has an increased chance to show their full ghost form during ghost events, rather than just appearing in shadow form or completely invisible.

An Oni blinks significantly less than the other ghosts during the hunt, making it much more visible.
